Ericka's obsession with surfing, snowboarding, nature exploration, culture and Ashtanga Yoga has led her to travel for the last 15 years. Her dream started in India to create a store inspired from all the amazing places she's been to. But its not just a conventional store that offers material things but also a more holistic approach of offering yoga and counselling.
For deeper understanding of the Ashtanga practice, she devoted long term study with different teachers from around the world: Michael Gannon, Lino Miele, Dena Kingsley, Rolf and Marci and R. Sharath Jois the head of the Ashtanga Yoga tradition at KPJAYI, in Mysore, India. For six years she travelled to india for six months each year, spending three months each time to study with Sharath Jois and was finally Authorized Level one in 2009 to teach Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga.
In the meantime she studied massage therapy and received a degree in Counselling. For the last three years she's been studying and working with Ricardo Randall who specializes in injury prevention. She has a firm belief that knowledge comes from the direct transmission from her teachers and personal experience.
